A clear journey from interest to the right conversation.
LUIT receives visitors within the approved scope, records relevant details, and coordinates the next step with your team. The Hub handles the first local interaction. The partner controls the admission journey.
information
Clear
handoffs.
Five stages, defined in writing, with a clear handoff from the local Hub to the partner team.
Five stages. One clear handoff.
Each stage has a defined owner and a defined output. Nothing is ambiguous, nothing is improvised.
Interest
The student or parent discovers the partner organisation.
Visit
The visitor comes to the Hub in Guwahati.
Approved information
The Hub answers within the approved scope.
Record
The visitor's details are documented for the partner.
Follow-up
The partner continues the admission conversation.
What happens at each stage.
Every stage is designed to keep the visitor experience consistent and the partner's boundaries intact.
Interest is created.
A student or parent expresses interest in the partner organisation — through marketing, referral, word of mouth, or direct enquiry. The Hub is not yet involved.
What the partner does
Runs marketing, lead generation, and initial awareness in the region — digital, print, school outreach, or through regional partners.
What LUIT does
Nothing at this stage. The Hub becomes involved only when the visitor arrives — no outreach on the partner's behalf.
The Hub is visited.
The visitor comes to the managed presence in Guwahati — walk-in, scheduled appointment, or referral from a regional partner.
What the partner does
Provides reception guidelines and partner-specific welcome information for the Hub team, based on the agreed scope.
What LUIT does
Receives the visitor professionally, logs the visit, and understands the purpose — no assumptions, no improvisation.
Approved information is shared.
The Hub answers basic questions using only the information the partner has approved in writing. No improvised answers, no unapproved claims.
What the partner does
Provides the approved information pack, updates it as programmes and fees change, and defines what cannot be discussed.
What LUIT does
Shares approved information only, records questions that fall outside the approved scope, and never makes commitments on the partner's behalf.
Details are recorded.
The visitor's details, question areas, and contact preferences are documented for accurate handoff to the partner's team.
What the partner does
Receives the enquiry record through the agreed channel (email, dashboard, or other agreed system) for internal follow-up.
What LUIT does
Records the enquiry accurately in the Hub's system, ready for partner follow-up. No records are shared outside the agreed channel.
The partner continues.
Detailed counselling, admissions, fees, and enrolment remain with the partner. LUIT's role ends where the partner's begins.
What the partner does
Conducts detailed counselling, manages documentation, quotes fees, and makes the final admission decision.
What LUIT does
Coordinates the handoff — connecting the visitor to the right person on the partner's team and tracking handoff completion.
Two sides, clearly divided.
The journey only works because both sides know exactly what is theirs to do.

How the partner stays informed.
Routing timelines and escalation paths are defined in the written scope — not improvised per enquiry.
Standard enquiries
Visitor details and question areas are recorded at the Hub and routed to the partner's designated contact through the agreed channel — typically within the same working day.
Urgent enquiries
Visitors requesting urgency are recorded with their specific ask and flagged for the partner's attention sooner, through the agreed escalation channel.
Visitor feedback
Any visitor feedback or complaint is documented and routed to the partner contact as part of the same enquiry record — with partner-side escalation contacts agreed in advance.
The boundaries that protect the partnership.
Boundaries are stated upfront — not discovered at the first visitor. These are the operational rules that keep the partnership reliable.
Does not make admission decisions or offer provisional commitments.
Does not quote fees, discounts, or scholarship information outside the approved information pack.
Does not sign documents or act as a legal representative for the partner organisation.
Does not guarantee enrolment, admission, or any specific outcome from a visit.
Does not contact students or parents outside the Hub visit, unless separately agreed in writing.
Does not publish or promote partner programmes without written approval of the material.
Questions about the visitor journey.
How quickly does the partner hear about a visitor?
Visitor enquiries are recorded at the Hub and routed to the partner contact through the agreed channel. The routing timeline is defined in the written scope — typically within the same working day for standard enquiries, and flagged for the partner's attention sooner if the visitor requests urgency.
What if a visitor wants a decision on the spot?
The Hub does not make admission decisions, quote fees, or commit on the partner's behalf. Visitors requesting a decision are recorded with their specific ask and routed to the partner's team, who handle the decision.
Can the partner's team visit the Hub during a student meeting?
Yes, subject to scheduling and the agreed scope. Partners may attend specific visitor meetings or arrange video calls from the Hub. Attendance is coordinated in advance.
Can the partner change the approved information pack over time?
Yes. The approved information pack is a living document. Partners can update it as programmes, fees, and policies change. Updates take effect after written confirmation, not on informal instruction.
What happens when a visitor asks a question LUIT is not authorised to answer?
The Hub records the question and routes it to the partner's team for a direct response. No improvised answers or unofficial commitments are made.
What if a visitor is unhappy with the Hub's handling?
The visitor's feedback is documented and routed to the partner contact as part of the same enquiry record. Partner-side escalation contacts are defined in the written scope.
See whether the journey fits your programme.
Tell LUIT Education your organisation, programme, target students, and the visitor experience you want to offer. The next step is a practical route forward, a request for what is missing, or a clear decision that the journey is not the right fit.
